The quest for the perfect pumpkin (with stipulations)....

Walden and I were talking about how we do not remember such an event - picking out the perfect pumpkin - when we were little. Nowadays...visiting the pumpkin patch is just as big as picking out a Christmas tree. It is a time we all love and yesterday was our big day!! (We are a little later than normal going this year). Carter decided our "perfect pumpkin" had to have several requirements. (Eliza just supervised the whole time.)

#1: It had to have a stem. (I agree...a pumpkin looks perfect with a stem)
#2: It could not have any holes in it (once again..I agree...we can find one without holes)
#3: It could not have "goose bumps" on it (we saw lots of pumpkins that had bumps on them)
#4: It could not have any dirt on it! (That was the biggest challenge for us seeing as how they all were randomly placed in the middle of a dirty field)

We searched high and low...pumpkin after pumpkin...minute after minute. But lo and behold...we found one!!!!

Oh no...a hole!

This pumpkin didn't last too long....we found dirt on it!
The perfect pumpkin!!!!
