Christmas 2008

I apologize it has taken me so long to get a post up about Christmas. This year was definitely a memorable one for all of us. I think what made it so neat this year was that Carter woke up Christmas morning and for the first time remembered that Santa came. In years past, we sort of had to remind him when he woke up. Not this year! This year, I caught him peaking out his door and he whispered to me, "Mommy...come here...Did Santa bring us anything"? It was priceless!!! Eliza really got into the presents as well. She would open one present and be hooked on it for a while and then we would have to convince her she had more to open!
Christmas plans: The Saturday before Christmas we went to Walden's parents to have Christmas with them and the Burns family (Walden's sister and her family). We had a ball watching all the kids open their present. Christmas Eve we went to the 5:00 church service and headed straight to my parent's house to exchange presents with them. Christmas Day my parents, grandmothers and Walden's parents came over for brunch. Christmas Day evening we went to my Nana's house for dinner.

Here is a look back at our 2008 Christmas....

Here is our Elf on the Shelf, Charlie. He worked miracles in our house :). We already miss Charlie!

Christmas night...sound asleep...

Eliza did have cute Christmas pjs on but in ole' Eliza fashion...she spilled something on them before going to bed.

Santa came to our house!!! Here are Eliza's gifts...

Santa was good to Carter as well!

He got his "yellow jacket bike"!!!!

Let the fun begin!!!
