Perfect weather, wonderful friends....a great day!

After church, we took a spontaneous trip to the mountains with some of our best friends, The Prices! We stopped by Ceasars Head State Park and literally had a "bird's eye view" of the BEAUTIFUL trees of many colors! The kids thought it was pretty cool to be so up high! Then, we headed to Hendersonville to an apple orchard to get some yummy apples and pet some farm animals. We wrapped up a fun day by stopping by our favorite pizza place in Tryon, Side Street Pizza. Needless to say, with the time change and a long, adventurous day...the kids were completely worn out when we got home!

It is times like these that truly make me appreciate having such wonderful friends to spend time with and letting our kids make many memories together!

Our "bird's eye view"! This picture does not do the trees' color justice!

As usually...Eliza's "cheeeeeeeese"...she will not let a photoshoot go by without this pose :)!

Thanks, Brandon, Missy, Griffin and Mallory for a fun day!!
